Bio, Leo Jergovic
October 30, 2003 — Born in a hospital in Santa Clara, CA. Building torn down a few years later.
Early 2009 — Family moving, toured a home with uneven walls, loud traffic noise, and a grand piano.
Less early 2009 — Convinced parents to find piano lessons in lieu of picking a different place to live.
Autumn, 2009 — Took a wrong turn at Skywalker Ranch, spotted doing voiceover for Toy Story 3.
Summer, 2010 — Audition at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Begins 10 years of study, top prizes in competition, and performance as a classical pianist.
Spring, 2011 — Broke the singing-in-public barrier in first professional theater outing; Cinderella at Berkeley Playhouse.
2013 — First role as an antagonist in Emma Penaz Eisner’s award-winning short film, Chee-Wi Learns to Growl
June 2013 — Second prize in his first-ever international piano competition in San Jose, California.
2017 — Attends Krakow Piano Summer Festival under the guidance of longtime instructor, mentor, and role model Dr. William Wellborn. Lives alone for the 1st time, performs all over Poland for 2 weeks.
Summer 2018 — Holes up in a small, albeit beautiful, Italian village of 15,000 people. Performs concerts and plays in masterclasses with 5 world-class concert pianists
Winter 2019 — Writes his first two songs, combining piano and voice. Awarded National Youngarts Merit Award in Singer/Songwriter Discipline
Pandemic of 2020 — Dedicates more than a year to becoming his own producer, beginning to mix and master his own projects. Releases Social Distancing (1 and 2) and Lost in the Sauce
July 2021 — Graduates from Menlo School, confirms attendance of Columbia University.
July 9, 2021 — Publishes End of an Era, first studio album with longtime collaborator and best friend Aaron Morgan (drummer). More coming soon…
September, 2021 — Jergovic moves to New York City.
April 14, 2023 — Releases EP Wrong Page, streaming debut.
May 29, 2023 — Sings on the stage at Berlin Under A for first live performance in NYC.
